Our Development Process – Step by Step
The path from the initial consultation to the installed gearbox is structured — but never rigid. We tailor our process to the complexity and requirements of your project.
Idea & Problem Definition
It all begins with an open-ended question: What should the gearbox be capable of, and under what conditions? Together with you, we define the technical constraints—torque, speed, installation space, environment, service life, and safety requirements.
Concept Development
Based on your requirements, our design engineers develop several potential solutions. We evaluate them together with you—both technically and economically—and select the concept that best fits your needs.
Design & Calculation
The design of gear teeth, shafts, and bearings is carried out using modern calculation methods. In doing so, we take into account load-dependent factors, efficiency, vibration behavior, and strength—with the goal of creating a gearbox that is not only strong enough but also runs efficiently and quietly.
Design & CAD
Our design engineers create complete 3D models and manufacturing documentation. Exchanging CAD data with your team is a given—we work with standard formats and adapt to your system environment.
Manufacturing in Chemnitz
All key manufacturing steps take place at our plant in Chemnitz. This high level of vertical integration ensures quality, on-time delivery, and short lines of communication—without relying on external suppliers.
Prototype Testing & Optimization
Where appropriate, we rely on prototype testing to validate the gearbox under real-world conditions. Findings from these tests are directly incorporated into the optimization process—before series production begins.
Assembly & Commissioning
The finished gearbox is assembled, tested, and prepared for use at our facility. Upon request, we also provide on-site support for commissioning.
