Care and maintenance
In addition to power density and precision, the special gearboxes from CHEMNITZER ZAHNRADFABRIK are characterised above all by their durability.
Depending on the application, regular maintenance of the gearboxes is recommended, i.e. regular checks and topping up of lubricants to ensure smooth operation of the gears and bearings. This also includes checking the seals and housings for leaks to prevent the ingress of dirt or moisture.
We will of course be happy to provide you with comprehensive advice during our joint development project – including on the subject of proper assembly or preventive maintenance.
We cannot predict the lifetime of our products –
we have only been here for 134 years.
Recommendation for gear oils
Depending on the operating conditions, we recommend a gearbox oil according to DIN 51517-3 in accordance with the selection tables or equivalent oils from other manufacturers as a gearbox lubricant.
