In order to achieve full flexibility in production, we sometimes move away from our core competence of metalworking and integrate other necessary process steps. This includes the painting of gearbox housings, which we carry out in-house for smaller quantities.

Painting initially offers aesthetic advantages and the designated application can often be identified by the colour of the housing. Colour-coded paintwork can also help to identify and differentiate between different gearbox models or gearbox specifications, which increases efficiency in production and service.

There are also functional benefits, as a high-quality paint finish protects the gearbox housing from corrosion, chemical influences and mechanical wear, which significantly improves the durability and reliability of the gearbox. Painting also makes it easier to clean and maintain the gearbox housing, as dirt and oil adhere less easily.
