Plastic machines

When using special gearboxes from CHEMNITZER ZAHNRADFABRIK in injection moulding machines, extruders, blow moulding machines and other plastics processing systems, it is particularly important to be able to control high torques with precise speed control. The special load capacity of the output shaft bearings, the precise positioning of the output shafts and low-noise operation are additional requirements.

A hydraulic motor gearbox, for example, can be the ideal solution for such demanding applications. It has generously dimensioned bearings and has a lower slip oil quantity compared to hydraulic motor direct drives of the same series. The high level of efficiency is reflected in the outstanding torques with smoother running and the responsive drive due to the low inertia.

• Multi-stage reduction gearboxes with power splitting for driving twin-screw side conveyors - optionally also for higher axial loads and in accordance with the ATEX directive
• Laboratory extruder gearboxes with high power density and integrated overload clutch - optionally also with axial force measurement
