Test benches

Simulating the various test conditions and providing the required torques, speeds or loads is a very special challenge for our special gearbox construction department. Different influences often have to be simulated in order to investigate the behaviour of the tested object under real operating conditions. Special gearboxes are used here to generate variable loads, such as traction or braking torque in vehicles, variable aerodynamics in aeroplane tests or fluctuating loads on industrial machinery. In addition, our drive technology must be suitable for generating specified speed and torque profiles, ensuring precise control during the test process and carrying out corresponding measurements and evaluations.
