Housing machining
No two gearbox housings from CHEMNITZER ZAHNRADFABRIK are the same. On the one hand, they are made of different materials depending on customer requirements, for example aluminium, cast iron or steel. The choice of material depends on the specific requirements in terms of strength, weight and corrosion resistance.
In addition, extensive housing machining is carried out in our production department, in which surfaces, bores and threads are milled and mounting seats and sealing surfaces are fitted.
The milling of gearbox housings is a critical manufacturing process that is essential for precise shaping and compliance with tight tolerances. With the help of our modern CNC milling machines and complex tool technologies, complicated geometries and fits are machined with high accuracy and repeatability to ensure the functionality and performance of the special gearboxes. The high surface quality also facilitates assembly and extends the service life of the gearbox.
